Overview
The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of St. Joseph's College of Pharmacy, Cherthala is constituted in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015, notified by the UGC through the Gazette Notification dated 2 May 2016.
The Committee serves as the statutory mechanism for the prevention, prohibition, and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment involving women employees and students. It is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, inclusive, and gender-sensitive academic and work environment, while ensuring fair, impartial, and confidential inquiry procedures in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The Committee is constituted by the Head of the Institution and functions in compliance with the applicable UGC Regulations and relevant statutory provisions.
